We have negotiated for a group rate at the Best Western Wynwood Hotel near downtown Portsmouth. The group rate is $99.85 plus tax, for single or double occupancy. They are holding the block for us until May 12, 2009. Please refer to the Chaney/Lumens Wedding when making your reservation. The hotel includes fridges and microwaves, indoor and outdoor pools, a continental breakfast, and internet access in the rooms.

While the hotel is close to downtown, you will probably still need a car to get to the church and reception center, unless you really enjoy walking.

If for some reason you don't like our hotel choice, feel free to book a room at another area hotel. There aren't many hotels in downtown near the wedding sites, but there are several a short drive away. There's also Kittery, Maine which is right across the river and Durham 15-20 minutes away.
